We set up most restaurants within a week. You’ll have an onboarding specialist to guide you through the process. They will need information about your business to get you up and running.
You’ll need to share access to your key accounts (your domain, Google and Yelp profiles). We’ll ask about basics like your EIN and your POS. We use Stripe to help you accept payments online, so you’ll set up an account with them if you don’t already have one.
From there, we’ll update your new website with your branding. We’ll also use your menu to set up your online ordering.
If you have everything in order, like knowing the login and password to all of your accounts, this can be done very quickly. If that’s the case, you can be up and running in a few days.
No, but we can automatically inject orders into many of the major POS systems. If it’s Clover or Square, we integrate directly so all the orders online go straight to your POS. We can also send you a tablet or printer (at no extra fee) if that's what you'd prefer.
First, it’s cheaper for them. Some restaurants mark up their prices on the delivery apps. There are also sometimes platform fees and delivery fees that can inflate their order total.
Second, you can incentivize them with a rewards program. With Owner, you can reward them with a points-based loyalty program, giving away low food cost items like mozzarella sticks and fries every few orders to reward people for ordering directly.

For orders under $30, you can let the guest pay for delivery. You may consider covering some of the cost to get more orders.
For orders over $30, you should cover about $3 in delivery fees. Owners research shows that you get the most orders when customers pay a maximum of $3.99 in delivery.

They charge us about $7 to help you offer delivery, which we charge directly to you at no markup from Owner. But to the third parties, this is almost pure profit for them. It helps keep their drivers more busy and active on their platform.
When you sign up with Owner, you'll get a new restaurant website optimized for traffic and sales. It will replace your current website.
Your domain and website URL will stay the same.
